WESTLAKE VILLAGE GARDEN CLUB announced that their 43nd Annual GARDEN TOUR on April 17 was another SUCCESS!

The celebrated GARDEN TOUR included five diverse gardens in and around the Westlake Village area.  In addition to the gardens, guests enjoyed learning from many Presenters...The Bird Lady (MARY HANSEN), The Bee Guy (CHIP VANNOY from BENNETT'S HONEY FARM), The Bug Lady (CINDY KLITTICH from OTTO & SONS NURSERY), The Squirrel Ladies (MARSHA RYBACK from COAST & CANYON WILDLIFE) and (SHARRON BAIRD from SQUIRREL MENDER WILDLIFE REHABILITATION), The Rosarians from VENTURA COUNTY ROSE SOCIETY, Plein Air Painters, CYDETTE VIKANDER KNOOP and DAVID GLOVER, musician, DON MCALISTER entertained the guests and local tastings provided an added treat. This year, LEMONADE RESTAURANT at the Promenade Shopping Center joined us in bringing our longstanding annual lemonade treat to a gourmet high!  And the GARDEN CLUB LADIES once again provided 1,000 home-baked cookies!  JOi CAFE featured vegan smoothies and Sweet ending culminated the Tour at Garden 5 through our wonderful Sponsors, NOTHING BUNDT CAKE and STARBUCKS. Exhibitors, ARMSTRONG GARDEN CENTER'S BUTTERFLY STATION and OSH ORCHARD SUPPLY HARDWARE'S, ASK SUE STATION added to the educational element.  And we couldn't have survived the aftermath without the help of BBQ Tony!

2016 Tour Chair, Crystal Salapatas, was assisted by last year's Mad Hatters: Ticia Bloomfield, Karen Fitzpatrick, Cindy O'Leary and President, Judy Doane.

Once again, four deserving students will receive college scholarships from the Tour proceeds.  Many conservation efforts, including our local Conejo Valley Botanic Garden, will
also receive annual support from the Tour proceeds
